Attractions and sightseeing
The Derbyshire Peak District is renowned for its historic market towns and elegant halls and stately homes including the
world-famous Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, recently in the public eye as the location for the BBC's production of "Jane Eyre". The area's traditional associations with lead mining,
sheep farming and the textile industry now provide a diversity of museums, full of interest for lovers of history, and endless picturesque villages
